GEOINT capabilities
Romania's GEOINT system is an outstanding example of how U.S., Coalition and Iraqi troops on the ground are the direct beneficiaries of multinational collaboration in geospatial intelligence to support operations in real time.
The center
The Romanian Training and Operational GEOINT capabilities are concentrated inside a GEOINT Training and Research Center (CGINT) developed by Military Technical Academy in cooperation with Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), and other national security organizations.
Training
The main training courses developed inside our GEOINT Center are offered to external attendees to familiarize/specialize them with subjects such as principles of image intelligence, digital image processing, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and imagery analysis of different categories.
