The context of this conference was related to the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Romania-France Season and the celebration of 70 years of excellence in military polytechnic education. The international team of teachers from the technical committee had helped ensure that the conference quality standards were met, and they had also encouraged the exchange of knowledge between military and civilian students from Romania and abroad.

There were 19 sections with 322 participants from 11 countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Serbia, Croatia and Netherlands (12 Romanian universities and 15 foreign universities).

The 2019 edition of the Students’ International Conference “CERC” was organized in partnership with four important military and civilian universities, from Romania and abroad: IUT “Paul Sabatier” of Toulouse, France, Vasil Levski” National Military University Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, Military University of Technology from Warsaw, Poland and “Politehnica” University  of Bucharest, Romania.
